I use TimeLog to track billable hours for various projects. One feature of TimeLog is to sync with iCal, so jobs can be entered as calendar items (such as on an iPhone) and automatically included in TimeLog when the iPhone syncs with iCal. On my iMac, I forgot to turn off the auto-delete function in iCal that deletes items beyond a certain age. On my MBA, I already had it turned off.

iCal on the iMac has deleted several job entries as they are considered "expired." They still exist on the MBA, but MobileMe sync wants to delete them. How do I stop this?

I tried editing the MBA entries to force a sync conflict, which I thought would give me the option of keeping the edited form or deleting them. No such luck; MobileMe sync on the MBA still wants to delete them.

Ideas?

Why don't you reset the sync data (in MobileMe sync preferences) and choose to have the settings on the MBA overwrite whatever's in the cloud?

I think because that was too obvious...but effective.
