It just occurred to me that there is no point in posting stuff on the www, because an a4 size post addressed to a stranger simply adds to nothing.
only people with tiny lives care about what is posted on the internet and consider a forum as their turf. I think they are all depressed one way or another. I don't mean to offend anyone in particular, but after about 10 years on macnn I'm sure no one made a single friendship, we didn't make a fortune because of it, and we didn't get to score too ! All our efforts on macnn just added to more text on the internet ! So whats the point of being here

Wrong. Remember Maxelson, daimono, Devil's Rancher? There a whole bunch of us who met up at Max's place. Andi and scaught were also part of the gang, and a bunch of others. We did that for a couple of years. Max and wife came to visit us in Canada, scaught staid with us in Toronto. Oisin did a trip across the US and Canada, staying with people he had met here.
On the west coast Demonhood organizes meet-ups.
Just because you're not getting invited doesn't mean these things don't happen.
