Hey all;

I got one of these as a present. I don't need it, and was thinking of giving it away to a friend whose only computer is a Wintel netbook (running XP Pro SP3, I think) with a rather cramped keyboard. If they get a little USB dongle, will this keyboard work with their machine? Any major drawbacks to it?

It should work, yes. The only real issue is that certain keys are in opposite positions - e.g the key marked option becomes alt and the key marked command becomes the Windows key, so they are in opposite order from what you're used to on Windows. F13-F15 become the print screen/scroll lock/pause keys, and I don't know what F16 becomes.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

It'll work, but IMO the whole point of a Bluetooth keyboard is to save a USB port. If you have to use a USB dongle, what's the point?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
