Any ideas what these could be? I'm pretty sure that some of them involve bomb testing.

If you look at it, you'll see that the white (silver?) stuff follows the contours of the ground.
It's big piles of money. Your money. The Great Money Wall of China.
Those squares of metallic stuff? Gold. Your gold.
The other stuff? Aliens.

the little squares definitely seem blown up, as does the circle with outward lines. Target practice.
What the odd white grid is, who knows? covered roads or buildings?

When zooming in, it looks like painted over the natural rock and hill structures.
Whatever it is, it's not "levelled" like a street or irrigation would be.
To be honest, it looks more photoshopped than anything else.

Definitely looks bomby.

You're right.
If it was a bombing run for practice, there would be structures around it, as well as roads. There aren't any here. It also appears to be a very long way away from any airport.

As you know, the M25 orbital motorway in England is a generator of evil, the secret of which was unveiled to us by Terry Pratchett:

In fact, very few people on the face of the planet know that the very shape of the M25 forms the sigil odegra in the language of the Black Priesthood of Ancient Mu, and means 'Hail the Great Beast, Devourer of Worlds'. The thousands of motorists who daily fume their way around its serpentine lengths have the same effect as water on a prayer wheel, grinding out an endless fog of low-grade evil to pollute the metaphysical atmosphere for scores of miles around.
These objects on display here are simply ancient Chinese sigils designed to attract export sales of inferior grade foodstuffs and toothpaste.

It looks like old strafing targets. Zoom out a bit and you'll see something that could easily be an abandoned WW2 style airstrip.
What about these?
40.452107,93.742118 - Google Maps
That's a few miles away on the other side of the air strip.
Also nearby:

Those definitely look like the got struck by a bomb.

One would think, but that topography is way too uneven for an airstrip.

Probably not an actual airstrip. Just lines drawn to look like an airstrip for target practice.

^^^ Yes, you can clearly see that the "airstrip" is not flat, but rather, follows the general geographical surface.

And some armored vehicles a bit west too. With roads connecting it to the aircraft, which is most assuredly at a bombing range. That's what the bombing ranges in Colorado look like almost exactly. But that still doesn't explain the odd lines.

I dunno, that's what it sometimes feels like driving around DC... Also, there's that one continuous, convoluted NW-SE line that actually kinda matches up with Beach Dr. NW from Chevy Chase to Adams Morgan.

Just joining in to say that whoever hasn't read Gaiman & Pratchett's "Good Omens" really, really needs to.
Not really a fan of Pratchett's, but that book had me in stitches.

It looks like military testing grounds for drills on and/or perfecting bombing accuracy. IMO, not something bizarre or particularly scary. I mean... other than the lack of ground impacts to explain the scattered debris.
I don't think you're really hiding it if it's less than 100 miles from your space program's launch site.

Nope, too many places to overtake and thus cause fun for the spectators. That'd never do.

It's a painted reflective coating. Clearly seen following the geographical profile.
Most likely a Satellite Targeting Sensor Grid.
Zoom from this link. Clearly a coating.

Seriously though, I refuse to believe the average FNC viewer is less informed than the average Obama voter. That's unpossible.

It's probably not *less* informed. More likely *mis*informed. The problem with Fox News is that they blur the line between News and Entertainment, with quite a few shows described as "Entertainment" which present opinion in a "News" fashion.

Still, I question the veracity of that article. FNC viewers should know the headlines of the day, unless perhaps they only watch O'Reilly and Hannity (O'Reilly and Hannity's second halves being especially full of fluff). Anyway, I don't understand how this thread became a discussion of Fox News.
