Marshall Headphones in conjunction with Marshall Amplification has unveiled the first home audio product to bear its legendary script logo -- the Hanwell home speaker. The retro-styled speaker housed in a wooden cabinet and clad in black vinyl has a single 1/4 inch jack with analog controls for bass, treble, volume. The speaker has no announced price and no release date.

AppGeneration releases Kids Book Maker iOS app generation software Developer AppGeneration has released its Kids Book Maker software package to create a children's book App. The tool allows both publishers and authors to build a highly interactive book with no coding knowledge required, and then publish it on the Apple App Store in universal format. The book creator can add synchronized sound and text, touch and tilt animations, learning activities, and assisted reading learning experiences to the application. The software requires Mac OS 10.7 Lion or greater, with Xcode installed. An unlimited publisher application is available for 10,000 À ($12,580), with a single book license available for 1,000 À ($1,258). Bike trainer hardware and iOS application combo Kickr announced The Kickr, the world's first iPhone controlled bike trainer, allowing athletes to set resistance, accurately measure power, and complete app-driven workouts has been demonstrated at cycling enthusiast show Eurobike 2012 by manufacturer Wahoo Fitness. Using Bluetooth 4.0, the Kickr connects to the phone providing immediate control over the device during a training session. The iOS application and back-wheel combination allows for structured rides or simulations of real world courses, power measurement at the hub of the wheel, realistic road feel engineered to simulate the inertia of an actual rider on the road, and speed plus power measurement. The trainer will be available in November, and pricing has yet to be announced.
