Apple appears to have finally caught up to demand for its iPhone 5s, as nearly all models of the device are now available in Apple's US retail stores. This according to a new report from Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster -- who surveyed 60 Apple retail locations -- and found that those stores had full availability of all color and capacity variations on each of the major carriers. Additional research done by others appears to support Munster's assertion.
MacRumors contacted another 120 stores, finding that supplies are just short of 100 percent. T-Mobile devices were the most frequently-missing iPhone 5s models, with about 98.6 percent availability. All surveyed stores had Sprint models in stock, and AT&T and Verizon units saw 99.8 percent availability, with just two specific model and location combinations unavailable.
The iPhone 5s debuted to very strong sales earlier this year, and demand has remained high for Apple's latest flagship device. Apple was less able to sate demand with the 5s than it has for previous iPhones due in part to its use of a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. That sensor, according to reports, was difficult to reliably manufacture, and poor yields in that particular component are said to have led to lower initial 5s production.

Oh, noes! That's not because of increased production capacity. It's due to slowing iPhone demand.

Yes, of course. And the sales data for fiscal quarter 1 will be posted with the most ridiculous sales numbers in technology history, and you will, of course, be nowhere to be found.

I could be wrong, of course, but I think iphonerulez was being sarcastic. I say that because not being sarcastic when saying such a thing would make him look incredibly foolish. Still, we'll know for sure in about six weeks.
