If you're a beginner learning to play a guitar, sing, play the bass or drums, or you are a veteran looking to further develop your skills there are some great Black Friday deals on offer at the moment on the net. This also extends to guitarists and other musicians looking for some great drum loops and samples to add flavor to your home recordings. Electronista has been on the lookout and spotted some excellent deals with Jammit, JamPlay and Platinum Loops.

Jammit is a fantastic app available for on iOS (for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch), Mac and Windows that allows you to play along with a wide range of top artists. Tracks from your favorite bands can be isolated by guitar, vocals, bass and drums. This allows you to clearly hear how each part is being played, while also allowing you to replace the part yourself and record the result. Tracks available include those from bands such as Billy ldol, Foo Fighters, Queensryche, Mastodon, Soundgarden among many others. Right now you can save 20 percent of all purchases using the coupon code JAMBLACKFRI20 or 30 percent on purchases over $30 with the coupon code JAMBLACKFRI30.

Guitarists looking to boost their chops should consider checking out Jam Play. The site provides extensive online video tutorials from some of the all-time great guitarists like the legendary Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), Rob Flynn (Machine Head), Bumblefoot (Guns 'N Roses), Tosin Abasi (Animals as Leaders) and Dave "J" (Steve Vai) among others. Tutorial videos are presented with three different angles shot simultaneously, allowing you to get a very up close and personal look at how each of the artists plays some of their most famous tunes, as well as the way they generally approach guitar playing. Right through to December 1, Jam Play is offering 50 percent off when you use the coupon code BF2014 at the checkout.

Folks who record from the comfort of their own home using either their Mac or PC as a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) are often on the hunt for great drum loops and samples to flesh out their tunes. Platinum Loops has been offering high-quality studio-recorded drum loops and samples for some time now, and recently added some new drum loops played by Ray Luzier (Korn). Platinum Loops offer samples in a wide range of styles and genres, as well as offering them in WAV (Acid Loops), Rex2 (Reason, Nuendo) and AIF (Apple loops) formats. Right now they are offering a massive 75 percent off all loops packs with the coupon code bf14 at the checkout.
