In a rather old
thread I outlined my frustrations with unwittingly ending up with two AppleIDs. My original AppleID from many years past "FirstLast" and a second one that got created with MobileMe. When setting up MobileMe, my
[email protected] email account got deactivated and Apple Support assured me that it was lost forever with no way to get it back. I would have to use
[email protected] for MobileMe/iCloud email. Bear in mind that my iCloud AppleID is
[email protected] yet it was not a valid email account. Sometime in the last few months,
[email protected] started working again.
I hope this is a precursor to AppleID merging capabilities. I'm not thrilled that I have 2 AppleIDs, one for iTunes Store/App Store and the other for iCloud.
