Epson this week introduced two new portable projectors, the EX5250 Pro and the EX5240. The new projectors are aimed at small- to medium-sized businesses, and both are designed to integrate with users' mobile and other devices. Both output at 1024x768, and both models support HDMI connectivity spanning numerous devices.
The EX5250 Pro is aimed at larger, well-lit rooms, and it can project images at up to 3,600 lumens of color brightness and 3,600 lumens of white brightness. The EX5250, meanwhile, displays at up to 3,200 lumens of color and white brightness. The EX-Series offers fast setup with a range of features, including image adjustment tools such as automatic vertical correction and Easy-Slide horizontal image correction.
The devices also sync wirelessly with Android and iOS devices running the free Epson iProjection app. That app is currently available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The Epson EX5250 Pro and EX5240 are available through
Epson's site and through major retailers. The EX5240 retails for $549, while the EX5250 Pro sells for $599.
