Well, this sucks, although Dvorak has invested increasingly into his shtick over the years. I've always enjoyed how his presence somewhat blows up the show (especially when Patel was on).

Oh. Well then.

Banning is still an overreaction, though.

Leo's an embarrassment, I can't fathom why anyone would choose to listen to him now.

I feel he's crossed the border of embarrassment into the land of having entirely lost his mind.

I remember accusations of him being poison back when I was still a fan. I can't imagine what his reputation in the industry is like now.

They could rent out the back room of the Community Center on show days. Or maybe Chuckie Cheese. Or the Sunday School room at Father Ballecers church.

Looks like the lease is up in 6 months. I knew a year-and-a-half was too far out to wind up the spin machine.

They had an option to renew for an extra year, which is where I was getting 18 months.

As is probably obvious, I was a true believer.

Probably the most embarrassing admission I can make was I bought into the claim they had quality sponsors who they liked.

"Allan Mulally, CEO of Ford and my pal! these cars are so great! I love my Mustang! Ford Sync is the best! No more ads? **** Ford... me and the wife get Audis."

Thankfully, I had shaken it off already when it was time to get a new car.

I do care, but I didn't know. I haven't kept up with anything in the TWiT universe for many weeks.

I've searched a bit, and can't find anything on it.

Does it really matter what Leo does anymore? The guy dares to criticize anyone else after throttling the Golden Goose with his own hands?

Leo is firmly in "old media" mode.

Elgan just disappeared. One day he was there, next day he's gone. No excuse, no explanation, no chance for a good bye.

Doing this to people is one of the things I hate the most about the industry, and I bet you could get Leo to say the same thing back when he had a soul.

I'm sure chat will get up in his grille this weekend, so he may come up with something, but as of now, AFAICT he's been mum.

It's worse, he doesn't care. Like, the only reason I think he works now is he probably can't afford to retire. I get no sense hat he still enjoys his job or the network. I'm really curious what he's going to be doing 5 years down the line. I imagine TWiT will be dead and whatever tech knowledge he has left completely outdated.

"Filthy" is right, or it could be that she just goes commando in blue jeans. That can cause a woman's labia to look that color, too.

#bluewaffle?

There's also the bru-ha-ha over the padre allegedly selling out to Acer for a free laptop...

That's the thing...

Obviously you're not going to buy one, but it's pretty much a direct insult to you on top of it.

I want to say "this man has no shame", as if that's an insightful observation, but this is Dick Pic Laporte we're talking here.

Recently started watching MacBreak Weekly again on my Apple TV 4. A couple of observations ...

1. The average episode length seems to be 2 hours now. Was it always this long?

2. #1 probably wouldn't even be the case if it weren't for Andy Inahtko's incessant rambling. That has to be adding 30-45 minutes to an episode all by itself.

I feel like it was an hour to an hour-and-a-half when I used to watch...

And this was when Apple used to have things like new products.

Yeah, Andy Ihnatko became super annoying at some point. I used to like him, but man, that dude can just talk and talk and talk about nothing at all.

I haven't listened to a TWIT show in a year or two now. MacBreak Weekly used to drive me nuts because the host (Leo) was so anti-apple and so stupidly anti-apple. His opinions sounded like something an android troll would write on a comments thread. They were that bad. I have no idea with someone giving them the business when they deserve it, but he was just bitter. He also was grossly uninformed and underprepared for every episode. He frequently had no idea what he was even talking about.

I thin most Twitter shows used to be closer to 1.30, but I think they got stretched to 2 hours so Leo could insert more ads when the going got tough.

I've heard him mention something about being "persona non grata" with Apple lately. Not sure what that's all about but perhaps that has something to do with it? In any event, from a tech commentary perspective I much prefer Rene Ritchie and Alex Lindsay. Those guys always seem to be informed.

He's still making hay out of that? Not really a surprise I guess.

He live streamed an Apple event from his laptop, and Apple stopped talking to him afterwards.

That should date it for you. This was before Apple did their own streams... so 10 years ago? Fifteen?
