Ok, so MacNETv2 will never be as popular as MacNN forums. We are a monthly Mac publication that publishes opinion columns and reviews, but we do have a forum.

Our publication doesn't launch until the first of July or so, but now's the time to register your name of choice for the forums.

We only have 9 forums right now but we'll be adding them as needed. We also need a moderator for each of the 9 forums, so if you are interested email me at [email protected] and let me know why you want to be a moderator for a new mac publication.

MacNETv2 is not a daily News site like MacNN but it will be fun and it will celebrate the Mac.

And yes, you can have sig-tags

You deserve to moderate something!

*sigh* Kosmo is happy with be being a Admin.
Nice job PBDude!!! I like what you've done. I made a good choice, I wasn't sure you knew what to do but you proved me wrong. Yes sir, I like it a lot!

Thanks!

Kosmo
I am sorry if I sounded greedy.

And I am pretty much running the forums by myself right now.
I won't be moderating the board much so it's pretty much up to you now.
Once again I am sorry for sounding greedy.

You could admin me up, if you like. Not a big mac head (not owning one does that to you) but I can provide perspective, common sense, and I have my own bullsh1t detector.

Well, PBDude, just don't let me down, ok?

Anyway, these forums will never be as popular as MacNN because there is no daily news on the site, but it can become a nice place to talk Mac. So I hope a lot of you drop by, register, and make some conversation.

I'm hoping PBDude can drum up some business over there.

I licensed the forum about 2 years ago and because of that I can't upgrade to the version used here, it's not in the initial budget, in fact the forums weren't in the budget either but we had it so we decided to use it.

Thanks to all that had comments on the overall design, once we read them all we decided to go for a more 'sedate' look and feel, and we think we did it.

We have 4 columnists signed up to write monthly columns and we are looking for 2 more. We also need reviewers if anybody is interested.

One thing, PBDude, before you go posting private messages from me to you please ask me first...OK?? No big deal, but it could be someday.

Wow, moderators left and right now!

(I was an admin at MacNET for about 10 minutes but then de-admined myself. Funny story, if PBD wants to tell you...)

And congrats on opening up MacNET forums. I posted some feedback in your Lounge equivalent.

cheers and good luck
