Anybody trying to get into the Apple Store: their server is swamped!! You should get this:

Server Error
This server has encountered an internal error which prevents it from fulfilling your request. The most likely cause is a misconfiguration. Please ask the administrator to look for messages in the server's error log.

This is going to be a bumpy ride. I placed an order for OS X pb at 8 AM edt and got thru. Just try again later (Apple Store's not Akamai'd, I guess . . .)

That's what they get for trying sooo late. I did it even earlier than you did. I just checked my order, it's in "Assembly" stage. I can just see it: a row of monks with itty bitty lasers, individually writing the bits into the CD-ROM.
Is this a good place for an argument?

I'm glad, for once, that my job requires me to be awake at 6:30 a.m. EDT. I got right into the Apple Store and did my business.

Not that I'm gloating or anything ...

Then I have to talk the wife into letting me eff up the computer. We need two bad
