As a man who has "billed by the minute" Internet, I was just wondering how many hours people spend here a day, and their connection method?? Europe is really behind on this - they keep pushing the Internet over here, charge a premium for a slow connection, and then wonder why its not taking off.

Connection method: cable, after dissing dialup cause I kept running overtime and am generally an impatient perosn
This calbe is $63AUS/month...
Hours a day here?
Not many. Run through the entire forum in maybe 30 mins, then every now and again check in to see updates.
Generally I have a MacNN window open on Netscape, so while I wait for other things to load, I can do this inbetween after the initial fly through.

Work hours. It costs me zilch! That's five hours non-stop with three forums at the same time. I read almost everything, reply very rarely, refresh the pages from time to time. I used to use Netscape, but I recently found Explorer better for the forums.

My problem? When I'm here, most of the people are still in bed...

The best? Get a job with free internet connection and nothing much to do.

i'm on my school's lines (4 T1's) when i'm at school.
right now (till friday) i'm at home on the cable modem.

luckily, since i don't live here (despite the current setup) i don't pay for any of it (except the outrageous tuition fees...).

RIGHT NOW, I'm on a crappy 56k connection (aol), and I spend a bit of time here, although I'm not sure how much, becuase I'm also looking at other forums, and talking to people, so who knows. What I do know is that I get my T3 back next week sometime, and then my times spend here will be cut in half; less loading time.

Whenever I feel like flapping my gums, which is mostly 24/7. I have At@t 1Mb/sec Cable line for $39.95/mo. 56k is the anti-christ.

We are 3 IT guys already, one for the morning till 4, me in between and another from 9 till 1 in the morning... they salary isn't bad either...

hehe... yes the girlz are pretty good but you can't do much with them, they are very hard to reach... for example, my best friend is going out with his girlfriend since two years now, and they never had sex with each other... once we'll be married, she says, we will have sex... this is why I'm still single...

At home I'm connected via Bell DSL service ($39.95 CDN /month). At work, my workstation is connected to the net through the company firewall using a T1 connection.
