I know I probably screwed up something with permissions (CHMOD) or with services running (Samba, SSH2, SWAT).. I can no longer ping anyone from a terminal. I get this error:

ping: socket: Operation not permitted

Anyone know what I may have done? I can't even use the ping command when I'm SU'd as root!
