When I try to do a system update, my control panel says that it cant connect to teh internet. Obviously, I am typing this, so i can connect, but the update control panel doesnt seem to think so.
I've gotten the same message a couple of times myself; usually just after I log on. Don't know what could be causing it, but it usually works fine after a few moments. Now if Apple would only post some updates so we can see if it is actually working....
