if you have a bass in your collection, try and find yourself a Boss Envelope Filter. they are totally cool, but quite hard to find

I like the song where he sings,

"Soho's got the boots,
Noho's got the crack,
New England's got the foliage
but I ain't goin' back."

I sometimes stare at the starlit night sky and feel a strange pulling, like it's asking me to come home to where I belong.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Of course, if it were not understood: I cannot impose the same idea upon those I know/ love/ have a personal connection with.
Hell, I am a misanthrope. I ain't heartless.
Children absolutely fall out of the category. Absolutely.
I hit a chipmonk the other day. The guilt is incredible. It made me think about the finality of it all. I thought about his little chipmonk wife, little chippy children. "Where's daddy?"

I heard Gotti died. My only thought: one more idiot I don't have to support with my tax dollars. I hope it hurt. And that there is a long and painful afterlife for him.

Must dash. Living at Sun this week. DAMNED good training. I recommend it. Expensive (like anything Sun branded), but excellent. Cafeteria kicks butt as well.

FACT: I was born at a very young age.

Max, are you at the Sun offices outside of Boston? I did a site tour there a couple of years back because they were using ATG as their website platform (my company was considering ATG at the time).

I had a girlfriend who was into bicycling. (I was too. It was part of the attraction.) Anyway, she thought it would be a neat idea if we made a bike trip to Florida. She wanted to meet my parents. This was a few years back when my mom was still alive and my parents were living in Florida. I liked the idea too. We started to make plans to do it that summer.

We broke up before we made the trip. I decided to do it anyway - alone. I'm kind of a loner.

That bike trip was one of the best things I've ever done.

I am in a meeting, surrounded by lawyers, accountants, project engineers, various paper pushers and talking heads. Some evil person has switched off the oxygen, but mysteriously no heads whither and fall to the large, oval table. A voice is droning monotonously, but I do not hear. I am far away, pushing my daughter on the playground swing. Her laughter is the music in my head.

I seem to be in the profession of doing things I regret

As I sit here, alone, depressed, jobless and broke, I get the feeling that every major decision I've made about my life has been wrong.

Then I make a picture like this for Something Awful and giggle for a while.

I have the worst habits... I use my car keys to scratch inside my ears. I get a lot of lint in my bellybutton. Farts still crack me up.

They laughed at my Mac, it had no CLI. They laughed at Linux, it had no GUI. I installed MacOS X, and shut them up.

My life is dichotmy. I'm constantly torn between my delerious love of music, and the irrisistable siren call of dark voids in limestone. Caving and gigging are mutually exclusive, and you can excel at one or the other, but not both.

Going caving this weekend, and playing my friend's wedding next.

Sucks about the dog, Max.
