does anyone else think that the 'levels' need re-adjusting? i mean just look at how many of us have green stars.

besides 1000 = Addicted 10,000 = clinically insane. it's a bit of a gap don't you think? how about...
0-500 = new member
501-1000 = junior member
1001-2000 = member
2001-3000 = senior member
3001-4000 = really senior member
4001-5000 = really really senior member
5001-6000 = ...

and so on and so forth.

Following the logic of 10 posts being 'member', 50 posts for the next step and 100 posts after that, there should be a new rank at 5000 posts. It would make sense. Somewhere between 'addicted' and 'clincally insane'

SO, yes, I guess I really have 4300+ posts. Counting my ubernether personality and all...
But damn. The rapid fire commute between Worcester and Manhattan is getting hard. That third st. bridge is ok, but the streets afterward are really racking my suspension. And IS there any time when 95 in CT is NOT under construction?

I'm going to pull your head off because I don't like your head.

OK. It's (proper usage- contraction. It + is) true. State chopper. I suppose I ought to tell you it is also my fault the soon to be ex gov, Ms. Swifty, caught the heat for it. In reality, she's just being nice, letting me bounce back and forth.
But I NEVER use it to commute to work. For that would be an abuse, it would, it would.

I suppose I should contribute to this discussion.

Most of my posts happen during school breaks. I just don't have the time to maintain a 4.0 in high school, play basketball, administer the computers of a business and a few homes, review hardware, and post on MacNN during the weeknights anymore.

By the way, I would love a copy of that saved HTML document, Cellery. If you have a chance, e-mail me it at [email protected] .

I'm looking forward to breaking 20,000 posts this summer.

20,000 posts? This ought to be interesting.

If I break 1,000 posts people are going to start complaining 'he's doing it again'

Does anyone have a saved page of the time I did it about 40 times in a row? Anyhoot, I plan on getting to 2,000 by the end of summer

Jesus ****ing christ. GO GET A LIFE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

It's guys like yepez that force me to believe that they truely consider post count to be an esteem booster.

20,000 posts my ass. That'd be an impossibility. The admin's would ban you after 500 or so posts of usless meandering.

Haha. About 140, depends on the keyboard.

This one? About 135; the wintels (each with different IBM KB's), about 140. The ADB Extended, about 110 cause it takes a bit to get used to after being on this and the wintel one... on the iMac, about 135.

Sean - yes, but if we were to add up the number of WORDS per post, you'd be in trouble

Yeah, but those are Australian minutes, right? So, that would be about 70- 75 in US minutes at the current exchange rate, if I'm not mistaken.
