I brought this up in the other thread, but figured it may as well have it's own.
I'm going to be staying at school in Minnesota (Carleton) over spring break, working (unfortunately) 35 hours per week. To break the monotony I'm going up to MiniCon in the cities. I'll be up in the cities all three days (March 29-31), and it seems like as good a time as any for some sort of MacNN get together.
So anyway, any of you Minnesotan MacNNers feel like joining me? I figure we could either meet up at MiniCon, or, since that costs money and may not appeal to everyone, maybe one of you who's more familiar with the area than I (probably all of you) can think of something.
Ooh, just though of this: we could go to Chipotle's since so many people seem to really like their food, and I haven't had it yet (and I would kill for some good Mexican food).

Chipotle Mexican Grill, a McDonald's-owned chain that sells tacos and burritos. The burritos are huge because they use rice as filler, but people like 'em.

I was born in the Twin Cities. Too bad I'm not there now.
Not that I have any desire to meet you, anyway.

My sister lived out there for a few months a couple years ago. The first time I dropped by to see her I commented on how lackluster the town seemed. She agreed. I guess we're just used to the excitement of St. Cloud.

As a Minnesota resident, I felt I had to post at least once in this thread.
That's all. I'm done.
Oh, and I don't really care to go to a MacNN get-together. Just no time for that

The town does suck. We have absolutely nothing but lakes and tourists. Tourists can't drive either.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I don't remember seeing any McDonalds at the MOA. Of course, it's been a bit since I've hit the North Side food court, so I suppose there could be one there....

Life is like a clay pigeon -- sooner or later, someone is going to shoot you down and even if they miss you'll still wind up shattered and broken in the end.

It's in the south food court (the one underneath the General Cinemas). It's opposite the Johny Rockets, where the Hulk Hogan place used to be.

And tourists on lakes, now that's an even bigger problem. They can't fish or waterski worth shit.

Yep, there was. But, it was only there for a month or two. I also can't remember if it was chicken restaurant or check cashing service (or both?).
