No matter, I was on the goddamn treadmill last night. Lose two, win one, lose one, win two. Never lost so many games by less than 5 in my life.

I know how frustrating that can be, I lost one Valentine game yesterday by three measly kills.

We were up by almost 10 at one point too.

It was a weird night. At one point I played Last resort 7 out of a possible 13 times. Then, later, I opened up a Narrows game where scoring our first 6 points (we were down 8-6 by then). Once my team mates started scoring we blew the other team out.

Oh yeah, I also ran into a Field Major and a Brigadier de-ranking (AFK, spinning).

Depends what we're playing.
Also, I have no idea. But they were partied up and it was unmistakable.

It's up to you. I wasn't going to play by myself since I have some more unpacking to do, but I am obviously looking for a good reason to procrastinate.

Yeah, I'm kinda in a Custom game mood myself.

I'd play RTB, but you seem dangerously close to those gold bars. But who cares? I'll get you a 30 sooner or later so you might have to put up with harassment for a few days.

I don't think I'm in the mood for lag.

I would be willing to attempt killing you one-on-one a few times.

I think I'll stick with traditional stuff for now.

Edit: This is so smart, playing against you while starting the day cold.

Great games today, wow, my eyes burn a little!

Much to my chagrin another Brigadier joined the carnage today. A good friend of mine who learned how to play Halo at Fatty's house (he accounts for a lot of my Social Matches) Kevin Bogues came out of the woodwork too. Hilarious times were had by all, and I apologize to Stogie for sticking him about 20 times today

It should be noted I was on the losing team for every one of those 3 v 3 matches. I could not be the counter-balance to kb.

Imagine my frustration of not being able to dominate, damn you Gamblor!

I'm pretty damned impressed with him. He had never played any Halo until he played H3 at my house, and now he is easily better than me with several weapons. I can still own him with snipers though.

Yeah, actually the other guy outscored me once or twice too.

Does anyone know who he was with, cause I sure didn't catch it while we were playing.

Also, if I were stogie, I might not look up the stats on the License to Kill game.

You're still better than me overall.

I really need to find the right map for the game type. The Pit spawns people too close too each other, particularly at 125% speed.

Some choice pics.

The first game we played was just Dakar and I on my ridiculous Guardian variant called krazy. Stogie joined right at the end of the game and allowed me to pass Dakar for the win.

My fusion-core laced walkways were usually avoided but Dakar and myself both experienced a massive explosion first-hand.

I sniped the FCs just as Dakar got Overshield. Luckily for me, the blast sent him off the map.

I was set on incinerating Dakar and gloating afterwards. However, he led me right into a perfect trap rocketing me off the map.

Finally, this one is for you Dakar.

Me teabagging the sh!t out of him, Stogie came upon this strangely arousing scene and put my horny Spartan to rest.

Side notes for the LTK game: I was killed most by Stogie. Dakar was a millisecond late in preventing me from getting my only killing spree (he killed me as I got it)

the license to kill game was awesome, i haven't played one of those on halo 3 (i was a huge fan of S.W.A.T on halo 2) but its a good time, i think i'd like it more on regular speed on a level like guardian or maybe narrows but pit wasn't bad at all, but your right about the spawn points.

Poor Kevin found that out first hand. At least 4 times I would kill Kevin, turn around and see him re-spawn right in front of me for another easy kill. If he had a mic I'm sure I would've heard cursing.

This reminds me, I need to look for that shot that almost sent me into that thing hanging above the middle.

Get the reading glasses out again. You killed stogie the most. I killed you the most -- and oddly enough, you killed me an equal amount of times for the stalemate.

Oh yeah, I managed a longer spree than you.

Well, from what I understand S.W.A.T. was a bit different But I was thinking Narrows, too. I give sek 2 minutes before he shoots someone on the bridge while mancannoning, though.

I actually meant it the other way. I'd kill you entering the east end of the Rocket Hall, kill kb on my way through, then die to you just arriving as I was exiting the west end.

I still think a game of Team LTK would be intriguing, though I think there's a strong possibility it just turns into Lone Wolves with group scoring.

yea SWAT was basically the same thing except the speed was regular and the only weapon was BR, i also remember being able to take 4 or 5 shots (2 bursts) in the body before death and only one shot to the head.

What are you talking about? I got 12 kills (6 against Fatty).

Yeah, I suck at License to Kill. This was probably my only highlight of the the game. Too bad is was the first kill of the match.

Yeah, you got the full repertoire from me. A crazy ass 20 kill game, followed by a -9 game, both on the same map. Also, whichever dude killed the guy who grabbed the rockets on the last game has my ire. I totally stuck that guy in the face.

Nah, I had just gotten back to 26 two games before. I need a streak of at least 4 or 5 to go up a level. (Too bad you dropped on the Last Resort game, we probably could have had that one)

That said, I hate 3-on-3 games. I feel even more out of place since you two are used to playing doubles, too.

BTW, ignore my shitty performance on Shotty Snipes, my connection is not conducive to Shotgun-on-shotgun battles.

Fack, I forgot today's pic, so here comes the Quintuple post.

Pic O' Day

Me, assassinating invisible dude with a shotty trying to sneak up on a buddy.

To make this post semi-meaningful, News: If I read Bungie's weekly update correctly, the Auto-Update (including melee fix) may be out at the end of this week.

i was thinking you were gonna get to staff captain last night and we ended up playing one more game after you left which turned into a 4v4 on vahalla slayer, which i had a running riot and we won 50-31. but all in all a great few games last night which caused me to skip all my classes today but it was well worth it, i didn't want to walk in the snow anyway....the beauty of college

some but they don't touch the sidewalks or roads here plus the 25 minute walk to my first class doesn't really promote me going, my freshman and sophomore year i was much more studious, now i take a lot of snow days...
