So, I have Jawbonitis. In a related story, I've become really good at building my wall.

Everyone went in like ants to a carcass after the explosion. My computer has had some trouble dealing with the video.
Blaze, I never could get your entire video to load. It stopped last night after half an hour, making it only to the failed first attempt.

Oh, I should mention, I did a few tests with tall grass. Bonemeal will grow it randomly in what seems like 6 x 6 space. It will sometimes contain roses or daffodils. If left unattended, it doesn't appear to spread, meaning it can be sculpted. If completely eradicated it will not reappear. Here's to hoping that never gets modified.
Also, not that anyone cares too much, but forcing large trees by tube growing does seem officially dead. Which is unfortunate, because part of the reason I cut down my trees with impunity to build the wall was the assumption I could regrow them anywhere I wanted.

I'm pretty desperate cobble. Like almost prostitute level. It's sad, since I have all my lower levels that could use being mined-out just to fulfill my long-range design plans, but having to constantly stop and add lighting is a huge drag compared to just cleaning up your basement in the eternal sun.

Dakarstone, never to return?
The other day I needed to smelt some more stone, went to my cobble chest, and realized that I was down to about three stacks. I've just taken it for granted that I'd have an endless supply forever. Now I'm knocking out significant portions of my bedrock-level mine, working around multiple lava sources. I found over a dozen more diamond and about 8 more gold blocks, so I can't complain too much.

Last night lots of interesting things. Blaze gave me a tour of the nether, very cool. I need more arrows. Explosions, and wondering what Jawbone will build next.
Dakar, you can have all the cobble in my water level storage. Go in the door with the doorbell and it's the chest by the first flight of stairs.
Found a trapdoor bug. At the top of a ladder I opened the trap, and it wouldn't let me jump up. Wondering if ladder above is blocking. Might move it/trap and see if that helps.

Yeah, I use cobble for pretty much everything, including landscaping. On the other hand, I have over a chest of sandstone, and a double-chest of sand, which will be coming into play sooner than I realized.

I have yet to check out the Nether -- not even in SSP.
I've yet to decide which route I'm going to take. It's probably going to have to wait until the weekend to really get started.

Yes, my meticulous mining of sand and sandstone before replacing it with cobble and grass may have paid off.

Other things I'll be prostituting myself for in the future: Glowstone.

I didn't have a clear-cut plan when the wall went up (though you can see remnants of it in the trees planted along the wall) but right now it looks like it'd be moved to the courtyard entrance, if I can figure out how to force large trees again.

One last look...
This is what cracked me up before the blast. The two of you looked very ominous, not moving at all.
BLAZE, andi, and Dakar, checking out the damage.
Link's scaffolding.
Ground Zero.
Link's debris.
The tribute.

I'll trim out the first 4/5 of the video and leave just the explosion bits. Wasn't up to it last night.

I hit this too, you can't place the trap door on the same side as the ladder. You also can only place the trap door on a full block. Placing half blocks or stairs on the other 3 sides makes getting up possible w/out jumping. (your technically standing on the ladder.) I think the ladder logic should be changed so an open hatch acts like a ladder if there is a ladder above and below.
Dakar:
You can make a cobble generator with water and lava for infinite cobble. Andi's attempts at obsidian generation produced one.

Oh, and I'll take any gravel donations anyone wishes to lay upon me. All I can offer in return is wool, paper, or wheat.

When he broke glitch boosters he also broke powered carts. Otherwise I'd be tempted to jerry rig the rails and send all my gravel and a ton of cobble to you.

Bah, I can walk. It's not critical, but as I finish up the Bridge/wall, I have an eye out for my next project, which will require creating some new land in the middle of water.

The reaction though when 8 carts pull up...
I'd suggest building a the perimeter with gravel / sand and just cap over the water in the middle. Or walk a 2 thick wall of gravel from one side to the other to remove the water. You don't seam the type to build "floating" on top of the water.

There's a diverter up top but it's not 100%, so occasionally 1 tall mobs get through. Had a wolf get through once. Its not worth fixing till I solve the mob spawn rate falling off over time.

Because I need another tool to have to worry about carrying around. (Seriously, fix the damn axe so killing leaves doesn't burn the damn thing out instantly)

I never use he ax on leaves, the only time I bust leaves is when their in my way, I let them decompose. I've stopped carrying an axe around with me since I don't build with wood. It would probably be easier if I carried 1 iron instead of 3 or 4 stone picks around.

Link, I saw your message in the log. The good news is I don't think I'll have to help you fix the water. The bad news is I'm calling for opinions on simply using MCEdit to erase what I can only describe as lego land.

Also, finally found a dungeon on my own...just a few blocks removed from my ground-level mine entrance.

Well, I hope you didn't go all the way, as I asked, because I later realized I'll probably need to do some rerouting as that araea I'm terraforming is destined for something else and the tunnel entrance might interfere with that.

Easily remedied.

Nope. This one was near my corporate office location. I left the old one untouched, possibly out of fairness, possibly because I forgot.

Do what you need to.nLegoland (I assume that's the bizarre area between your Tower and sek's sandtemple), pave over the giant hole sek created to near bedrock with TNT. Whatever everyone is ok with.

Andi, fair warning, I'll be extending my Fortress wall in your side some time in the future (running parallel to the main road).
Also, once I figure out a design, I'll be adding a greenhouse in the area, and would be happy to share access with you.

After seeing pictures online, I think I'm going to start a graveyard to commemorate all my deaths.
