(that you can also find in english)
"Vous constaterez que la cache L2 des processeurs n'est que de 256 Ko contre 512 pour les Powerbook. Les processeurs utiliss ne sont donc pas des 7457, mais bien des 7455, tout comme les anciens Powerbook G4."

et voila!...

Motorola 7455 G4 in the iBook. This is the "ancient" G4 from previous PowerBooks? Is this the G4 that the iBook G3's sometimes outperformed?
I'm not anywhere near to being a fluent French speaker, but here goes:

"We (have) establish(ed) that the L2 cache of the processors is 256KB against 512KB for the Powerbook. The processors therefore don't use the 7457 inside, but the 7455, all like the old Powerbook G4.

And there!"

OK, as obviously french causes some problems around here (sorry for my english by the way) I ll give it a try. It goes like:
"You will see by yourself that the processors only have a L2 cache of 256 Ko against 512 for the PowerBooks. So the procs used are not 7457 but the 7455 from the old PB G4."

Hope it helped, sorry I did not have time to translate it before...

Whoa... this is huge.

The iBook just became a really nice machine.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
