Then get that car out of the way. It's a distraction.

In that shot, it's the "eye candy". It's fine though, I can appreciate two pretty forms in the same frame.

(Thanks guys, I appreciate this. It's fun, like in the old days.)

I think most people can. I'm questioning the meaning one is supposed to take from the juxtaposition.

Meaning? Sometimes a pretty girl in front of a car is just a pretty girl in front of a car.

I don't even read mags online. They are mostly written by idiots blagging their way through life until a more lucrative position at a mag about something else they know nothing about comes up. I know, I met a bunch of them.
Articles tend to be two columns of shit they googled for surrounded by 10 pages of ads. Pointless.
|
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

If someone ignores they have created meaning by way of juxtaposition of forms, they categorically suck as a creator.

There's a whole business of deciding how to make you want things, called advertising, marketing, etc... and they've figured out if they put pretty girls with things, you will want to buy the things. All the things. Also somehow the color red figures into this usually.

It definitely isn't a Ferrari ad, it isn't their style. Plus they really don't need advertising, there's already quite a waiting list for everything they sell. Ah, found it, that was a photo shoot by GTSpirit, a car enthusiast mag. This is a "typical" Ferrari model:

That can't be Cap'n Tightpants, because he is not standing next to a tree and a spiderweb like the guy in the picture is.

"The guy in the picture"? And people here are saying I'm out of touch?
