Back in the early 90s when my brother first got into the Mac for midi reasons he made a song with the "boys have a penis, girls have a vagina" saying from Kindergarten Cop. It was highly amusing.

Thats just it. "posting tone" doesn't exist in text. There is no tone to "hear" to understand intentions.
I believe you were being a bit smarmy/sarcastic which IS how you post a lot. But knowing if you actually believed that, or if you were just joking was a hard one to tell.

Tone: Manner of expression in speech or writing
Guess which one I meant.
Tone exists here.

Also, I never said that 'no doctrine can be believed'. You are putting words in my mouth. I have never stated that. Then again, religious people generally enjoy fiction, so it makes sense that you were pretending I said something I didn't.
You can't equivocate your own beliefs by relativising them as mere opinions. Your opinion on this matter, that religion is tantamount to fiction, is actually a doctrine, that of irreligiosity, or in your case, anti-religiosity. I know you didn't "make" this doctrine, it's been around for hundreds of years, developed and perfected by far more talented thinkers than you or me.
The rejection of metaphysics undermines the basis of what is traditionally called "truth". One therefore has to adopt a stance of mere relativism, whereby everything is either an opinion or a rhetorical locality, measured against a wholly subjective standard of truth. Faced with this scenario, and given the context of your response, the only way you could retaliate against what I said is using the logic "I know you are wrong because it is my opinion that you are wrong", which is essentially what you did, and which is not very convincing.
PS - why do you come to MacNN to start fights? You took what could have been a normal discussion on the paradoxical nature of reality and instead responded with paranoid, rude remarks. You seem to do this sort of thing quite often, and then wonder why you're banned on a weekly basis.

Girls are expected to provide sexual favors for guys. More often than not, a teenage boy isn't unselfish or mature enough to really do anything for the girl - they just expect it, and if the girl doesn't put out (in any form; not just intercourse), she's considered a prude and, as macgeek2005 showed us, will be quickly kicked to the curb.

Most boys (and girls) between the ages of 13 and 18 aren't mature enough socially or psychologically to handle the responsibilities that come with having sex. Girls always take it more emotionally. Guys don't understand that or care about trying to understand that.
Not having sex - and understanding what that encompasses (I'm talking about anything that involves taking off your clothes and doing things with each other) - is probably the most mature and best choice any teenager can make.

Of course, most boys today think that a girl is stupid or selfish or a bitch or a prude if she doesn't put out and give them what they ultimately can do with their hand, a sock, and a bottle of lotion.

You do realize that less than a hundred years ago, it was not uncommon for a woman to be married at 14?

It is quite unfair to be a woman on so many different levels. A man's seed, biologically speaking, is cheap, but it is unfair for the onus to rest solely on the woman to be a stop sign, and for not putting up a stop sign being instantly labeled a slut.
It is also unfair that assertive women get labeled cold bitches in business, when it is cool for a man to assume this role.

You listen to too many Christina Aguilera songs. A woman who is unable to say no to a man is put down for her lack of self-control and pride. Similarly, a man who is unable to say no to a woman is also put down for his lack of self-control and pride (see "pussy-whipped" and "man-whore"). It cuts both ways.

Assertive women do not get labeled cold bitches — cold bitches do. Men who act like they have sticks up their asses aren't generally the popular ones either. I've known assertive and confident women who are well-liked, but the dumb ones who make it a point alienate everyone always cry about how it's just because they're STRONG WOMYN that the patriarchy puts them down.

Chuckit: I accept your criticism of my characterizations, I can definitely see your perspective here.
I'm just not entirely convinced that we are rid of sexism and male dominance yet, and therefore looking at the broader picture, I think overall it must be harder being a woman.

No, we're not entirely rid of prejudice. I even believe most of it is probably directed the same way it has been for a while, though I do know men who have been discriminated against by women in power. But I don't think propagating stereotypes like "Guys are considered heroes for having no self-control while women are put down by THE MAN!" is any more productive than saying "It's good to be a cook in a mostly black neighborhood because all you have to fix is watermelon and fried chicken."
