The background I got by taking a screen capture of an OS9 Spongebob screen saver, and the icons were found at http://www.xicons.com/

I can't remember which app I used to make the dock transparent, but there are several.

Some of you have asked about that circle on my shot in the bottom corner...

That is called iPulse. Yet another really neat app from www.iconfactory.com

What it is is an All-in-One System Monitor/Clock.

Each quarter/semi circle does a different thing. Depending on the color. For instance, my purple is my four Partitions.
The dark purple is used space, light is unused.
The top part above that is my Memory. It shows from left to right Wired, Inactive, Used, and Free memory.
Above that part on the outside is the Memory Swapping gauge. I hardly see it go but it does when I do intensive stuff.. like launch iTunes as I just did.
At the bottom below the HD part is the Network section. It literally monitors all the networking stuff and merges it into one.
Red is incoming, green is outgoing.
In the center is the part I really need. The CPU usage circle. The more blue, the more CPU used. Then there's the clock face.
Also, around the outer rim each minute the CPU usage for the minute is shown in a red circle.
The more usage the minute had, the more opaque the circle is.

All of the colors are customizable. And each part can be turned off or on. Including the numbers like I have now.
In my shot they were on, but now I have memorized each part of the circle so I don't need the numbers.

It is $10 to register but I haven't yet. I am giving it a try first. They said after a while it starts begging. So far it hasn't.
I guess after like 15 or so days it'll start asking for money at which point I'll decide whether I wanna pay $10
to have all my stats on a cool looking circle rather than a bunch of little separate apps doing the same thing.

I say at least give it a try. It's a 1.0 app, but I haven't had any problems.
As long as I keep it set to update every 5 seconds it doesn't hurt my processor by slowing me down.
I sound like a commercial, don't I? Maybe they should pay ME to use it.

It's nice having all the data in one spot.
But I have to decide whether I wanna pay or not.

You know. Unless you're REALLY pressed for HD space (Which in that case, you shouldn't be saving screenshots.) 50% and even 75% JPEG quality take up little space. Hell.. even 90% looks ALMOST exact.

Also, you sure have a lot of icons on that desktop. Including an EXE?

Maybe if you name it with a name that the Interweb likes. I mean, the Interweb is based on PC filename formatting. (Remember when files had to be 8.3 format until a few years ago?) So, remove characters like the brackets and dots in weird places and the BB will understand it. (It's mainly a BB limitation here.)
