Just got home from Michigan Ave in Chicago (for some reason I havent been to that part of town in a while) But the new Apple store opening next week is looking AMAZING! 2 stories, huge apple logo window on the sencond floor (lighted up maybe?) 40 foot genius bar! A long way to go before it opens but wow! I cant wait.

I plan on being there next weekend for the grand opening, are you?

It will be the 3rd(?) store like that opening, there's already SoHo and I keep thinking one of the LA ones is.

I'll be there either Friday night or Saturday morningish. All depends on what else I have going on. Makes me think about whether or not I'm going to want to go to the Woodfield store tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure SoHo is the only current "Super" Apple Store (with Chicago being the second).

How did it come to this? Goodbye PowerPC. | sensory output

The Apple Store at "The Grove" in LA is also one of Apple's flagship stores. It's quite impressive as is the newly created outdoor shopping area at "The Grove."

I'll be going either friday or saturday. I've been by it a few times and it looks really nice. It will be the first Apple Store with an internet Caf with 16 computers. That should pull some people away from the tiny Sony store .

Holy crap. That's even more deluxe than the SoHo one. Sounds like a ... mega-wide Apple Store or something.
