Thanks guys,
I should clarify that the Jet is by my good friend Ellery Gave of Capacity Corp.. He is the most amazing designer I have had the priviledge to befriend, not to mention a great guy.

The ETA on the whole kit is probably the middle of March.

This is the schedule:
Theme-Done
Safari Skin-Done
Cursor Kit-Done
Icons-85% Done
Desktops-86% Done
iTunes Skin-0% Done

I was going to wait for the 1.5 Release of SS 1.5 too but I think I'll let this baby breath on its own because if I wait until Ss 1.5 no one will realize its available anyhow with Omega's release.

I only hope that any criticism due to text readability and such are withheld until SS 1.5 is available since that is out of my hands. There really arent that many issues left but the ones that are left are glaring. Adobe apps for one are huge.

I will guarantee that there will be a publicly available release by mid march.

cool swiz.. look forward to it. i'm glad you have decided to let it live prior to the all-infamous ss1.5. that shows you have faith in your ability and faith in your theme.
i'm sure many will be happy and understanding with this in mind.
cheers.

Very sweet theme. Looking forward to it, and the cool icons. Just wondering, but are you running Synergy up there in your menubar? Is that a custom controller you have too? Any chance that will be released also?

Thanks.

TiSkin by Xanthic Eye | modded by me

:: fullscreen ::

I just want to state that I think TiSkin in its original form is incredibly beautiful and that I think Xanthic has done an extremely amazing job on this interface makeover. However, Studio Pro by Swiz is one of my all time favorite themes and I have been wanting to do a grayscale mod of it just to have an alternative to the original, and when I saw this theme I just decided to merge some grayscaled SP elements with it and I think it turned out quite nicely.

That said, I mean no disrespect to Xanthic Eye, the original form is great and I look forward to future works by you.

//Carbon

PS - Please do not ask me for this mod, I will not send it to you. I don't care if you are Xanthic or Swiz or a guy with a gun

Man have I got some answers for you. The iChat thing seems to be an outdated preference. I seem to remember a checkbox in earlier versions that you checked to make the buddy's picture appear and have the away/available message go on a line underneath. If this box was unchecked, it would do as seen in Carbon's shot. If you go hunting around for it, it might still be in the plist file. I have no idea what SoundJam is. I couldnt find the red Safari icon on either Google or Xicons. Maybe he made it himself.

ok...after playing around with tiskin for some time now..i have found that the contrast in the menus was too much for my eyes so i made the menus more gray so the white text doesn't bother me as much...man, i love this theme..it works with both light and dark walls...anyway..here's the latest...

 Under the iChat "View" menu unselect "Show Buddy Pictures" and select "Sort by Availability"
 The red Safari icon is from the "Safari Flavours" iconset by Hein Mevissen of http://www.mixthepix.com/
 That's not SoundJam, it's a Konfabulator widget to control iTunes

Well, see, when I first saw your questions I was like "Oh yeah, I used to have iChat that way! Ive seen that icon before! What the heck is SoundJam!" Then when I actually started looking at iChat for the pref, I couldnt find it, didnt think to look in the View menu. As for the Safari icon, I used to visit MixThePix everyday waiting for a new icon set. I remembered it from there I guess. It really is a shame that hes not sharing them anymore, but it isnt because of this:

Well, actually youre half right, but it was mainly because of one software company:
http://www.adnx.com/
He battled with them for quite a while and it went no where. They still used his icons in their applications and he still told them not to. Their excuse is here:
http://www.adnx.com/icons.html
Really a shame...
