And what size? I'm considering a tablet, sure seems much nicer to work with.

I use a Cintiq15X... it's an overpriced LCD tablet (still waiting for Apple to make my Powerbook tablet), but I've used all sorts of sizes of Wacoms over the years and all sizes would be useful for any airbrushing etc. you might be doing with a theme. No sense going huge, I find the little graphire tablets every bit as useful as the big mothers. 6x9 is probably the ideal size though

I think Max has one, I myself was looking into buying one. No I'm not a themer but it'd sure make things way more fun. I'd rather draw something by hand anyday.

I've just got a WACOM graphire 1, it's nothing fancy but it works well.

Holy crap. I just looked that up and the SMALL one is $1800! Nice, but too rich for my blood.

I wish I could afford just an LCD display at this point. I can only dream about having the cash to burn on a $1800 one that you can draw on.

$1800 bucks, jeez thats a fair amount. I'd rather a scanner with a pencil and paper

I love my tablet (nothing fancy like a cintiq, but definitely not a bad one), but I don't use it much for theming. Pixel-perfect sizing and placement, and the ability to tile/stretch nicely, doesn't lend itself well to drawing by hand.

I've got a very old school A3 WacomTablet but i used only once or twice. I just can't adjust myself to disconnecting my hand from my eyes. i need to see my hand whilst drawing...
