Does anyone think that the latest powerbook speed bump might mean an imminent Power Mac upgrade as well?

Just canvassing opinion, as I am a long time windows user on the verge of buying his first Power Mac.

Think back to Apple saying they were going to keep in the news (it was a year or so ago they said it). Since then there's been an announcement of some sorts just about every month, whether that be new software or a hardware update. However, I wouldn't be surprised if PowerMac updates are around the release of Tiger...

Normally I'd guess in a month or so. Right now, I'm not certain if IBM is making enough progress in the CPU department to warrant an update, but I'm guessing Apple is going to upgrade the 5200Us for 6200s (heard they're on AGP now) and bump the GHz a little about then and follow up with a bigger update next time.

I don't necessarily want a fast PM G5 as much as I want a smaller one with more drive bays and without the glitzy optical-drive door.
