i havnt been around for a while, and now i come back it seems as though the apple spirit has just vanished.

threads asking "who is jumping ship" and others like it

i just wondered what is going on around here what happend to the hardcore mac people i used to see on here defending their macs and the platform they run?

i hope this is some sort of joke. obviously i have heard of the intel problem looming in apples future and that makes me weep. but guys comon ur all going soft!!

Ah they're still here. And the debate rages on... what makes a Mac a Mac. I think the general consensus is that it's the OS and not the processor.

I'm looking forward to running some of my old Windows programs again, on the New Intel based Mac, and still have the greates hardware / OS combo around. Nothing to be concerned with.
