My family wants to get my dad a computer for Christmas that can act as a type of jukebox. Our plan was to get a Mac mini, some kind of touch screen monitor, and software that for OSX that will allow him to play his music in a kind of digial jukebox style (using the touch screen, one that is easy to navitage). I'm thinking along the lines of a software program like the ones they have on the digital jukeboxes in bars, where you can navigate through artists easily and choose songs, etc. My sister said she had a friend who had this kind of setup, but we have been unable to find a good software to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think RevEvs has a good suggestion. No touch screen, although I suppose you could hook one up to the external monitor connection on the iMac. Other than that, would iTunes work?

How about you teach your dad how to use a damn mouse and set him up with iTunes? It doesn't take a brain surgeon to operate it.

Touch screens are messy, fingerprints and all. The iMac is a good idea.
