Does anyone know a good DOS emulator for Mac OS X? I already tried DOSBox, and it works, but i can't mount a folder as c: and i can't start any games.

Please pay attention to what's supposed to go in each forum. This belongs in the Applications forum, so I'm moving it there.

DOSBox is the best I know of. I've never had any problems running it. To mount something as C, type the following in the DOSBox command line:
mount c /path/to/folder
Then type:
c:
to get to the C drive. From there on, it's just like you were on a regular DOS machine. Everything in the folder you mounted will show up as being on C:, and you should be able to run most DOS games with no trouble. If it's not working, something's wrong. DOSBox definitely does work on all three of my Macs as well as my Windows machines.

I managed to get DOSBox to play some games but Virtual PC plays them much faster. VPC can play point-and-click adventure games at full speed on My Mini. It's the best PC emulator around by a long way. Connectix are emulation gods.

I'm assuming that you're running DOS in VPC, not Windows, right? I should see if I can find an old copy of DOS to install in VPC and try that out. On my PowerBook, I do have to turn the frameskip on DOSBox up to avoid stuttered sound.

I don't quite understand why anyone would want to emulate DOS.

Well no, I was running Windows 98 but it runs DOS games too - they open in a DOS window and still much faster than dosbox. You can just use dos with vpc though:

I just didn't bother with it because I already had Windows 98 set up. It would likely run even faster.

Of course the main reason is to be able to play old DOS games, but I've actually used DOSBox on a couple occasions to run old DOS engineering software for which I know of know Mac/Windows equivalent.
Besides, while DOS is certainly antithetical to the Mac and it's user-friendliness, it was actually a reasonably well designed operating system, in stark contrast to the mess that is Windows. I grew up using DOS and System 6. The Mac was great for graphics, sound, etc, but I had no problem with DOS either, and most of the games that I played were DOS games.
