I find it somewhat annoying that the mods around here are always so quick to shut down threads. It's one thing if people are discussing illegal activity, but just because you find a thread long and lacking content seems a bit extreme. If people don't like the thread, it will die a quick death as it rides the wave to the second page. Otherwise, I think it is safe to assume people are as bored with the state of discussion around here as I am. If people choose to express themselves with inane and worthless posts, so be it. It's like reading pulp fiction or watching Jason X, or masturbating. There's no inherent point, but there's also no inherent harm.

Lay off a little.

It's a moderated forum. I appreciate the mods saving my time from idiocy. How many times do you click a topic link... Then realize you've completely wasted your time. It's no big deal for you fat-pipe people, but some of us slumming it in Dial-up Land hate it. You see a topic has 40-something postings, figure it's interesting. Nope. Just more name-calling and BS.
