Is it possible to place a SSI in a page that will be used as a SSI?
For instance, if I have a footer on a page that is fed in as a SSI, can I have another SSI within the footer.html page for say, a date stamp?
Thanks.

I believe the .shtml extension is optional (correct me if I'm wrong) it's just faster to serve the pages if you add the .shtml to the pages using the inlcude.
