im running my 15" macbook pro with my 20" moniter an so when playing WoW i run it on the 20" however i cannot get it to go into full screen mode when its on the external moniter every time i try it puts it to full screen on the laptop screen. is there any way to get it running on the external moniter full screen?

Assuming you have an external kb/mouse, close the lid and wake the machine back up. This will run it off the external monitor only, then you can fullscreen.

or just swap the 20" to the main screen (aka the one with the doc+tool bar)
System Prefrences, Displays, Arrangement. then drag the Tool Bar to the other monitor
