Your country's team is about to win the world cup and you are thinking of the iPad? It is not that through-breaking, despite the hype.

That's not the point. You said you already have one. So what I was asking is why are you worried about when others will get it?

The worrying fact is that he can't see that if someone beats Brasil, they'll beat Germany too.

His state of mind thus must be questioned.
OP, I'm failing to see your personal rationale behind this post...

I bought a 16G WiFi iPad back in April through the so called grey import channels. Prices were high but as an Apple fan I just wanted to experience first hand what the iPad was all about. In the last couple of months it became obvious that the iPad is not only a cool gadget but can actually be used as a good working tool. For this reason I might be interested in buying more ipad's. For my personal pref maybe a 64G 3G version would be nice but not through the earlier mentioned grey channels.
Time between intro and availability in the Netherlands had take to long already. If the site states available starting July I expect it to be orderable July first.

I certainly hope the Netherlands wins. Even though I have absolutely zero ties to your country, I grew up a Bergkamp fan and thus follow the Dutch in the World Cup and Arsenal in the EPL. I remember 1998 being a painful loss in the semis, hopefully you guys win this time!

If Netherlands doesn't win tomorrow, and your people still don't have iPads, it will truly be a national tragedy.
I think the iPad is being held up because all normal people are not going to be distracted with an idevice while there's very important football to watch. Also, if Netherlands loses, the iPad will sell better.

I don't disagree that Apple needs to release a Dutch iPad NOW. The market is ripe for something to drown sorrows with.
