March 2nd??? That really sucks. Where did you hear that? Thing best be Cocoa if we have to wait that long

I played the windows version under VPC4, and it was painfully slow. Guess I'll have to wait for the mac version.

MacSoft's official line is February 2002 at the latest. Although March 2002 was mentioned in the Firaxis/Infogrames press release, it's wrong info.

The game will ship as a MacOS X-native Carbon app with support back to 8.6. Cocoa will add nothing to the performance or feature set of the game.

Actually the 02 was in reference to the year. Not a particular day...I was just so pissed. Still am....grrrrr.....
