how to burn DVD-rw

toast 5.1.2

I cant find any description in the help file
Description for incremental back only seems to cover CD
and description of DVD only write once

Any help appreciated

yes I know Toast will allow this. But�
The DVD option doesnt seem to allow further files to be written to the disc and the iso9669 option only allow CD rewriting.
As far as i can tell the help files are of no help.

How do you burn a rewritable DVD in Toast?

Just burn it. To use it again erase it with disc copy or disc utility.

ok- that s a pity and nuisance
so I cant do incremental backup burns like youcan with a CD?

might as well just burn a normal DVD -R

Well, except that with a RW you can re-use it; for example, when the backup is no longer current you can put the new one over the top.

Gee thats virtually useless - erasing and burning 5 gig woth of stuff just cus updated a couple of files. ( especially at 1 x speed)
I hope toast addresses this soon.
