Wireless hot spots in Hamburg & Ibiza? Network sniffers?

Hi, I'm going to Hamburg, Germany and Ibiza, Spain for a few weeks and taking along my battered Powerbook G4/400 with a wireless Orinoco card. I use the sourceforge drivers to work the card and I'm able to connect to 802.11 networks here in the US.

Two questions: Does anyone know of free access points/hot spots in either Hamburg or on Ibiza?

If no, are there any 802.11 network sniffers that work with my third-party card?

Not sure how they work with 3rd party cards, but:
