Oh my. That was a hilarious mistake on my part. Thanks guys for the laughs.
Embarrassingly, I actually worked at a dairy for a few months when I was 14.

Heh. Easily done. After all, he's a very pretty little thing. Like a ladybull or something. Or maybe he's in the bovine version of N-Sync (the haircut gives it away).

I am re-posting this from page 1 because all you flavor posers are already beat. There can be only one and it is below.

I've said for years that eating the milk of another species is, frankly, bizarre. But it's tasty! What I definitely disagree with, though, are the claims that humans "need" x amount of milk daily. That's biological nonsense. If we were intended to eat milk daily, human women wouldn't stop producing after birth.
Anyway, drinking mother's milk doesn't bother me anywhere near as much as what the author of this book did: he made the paté for his baby shower out of the placenta.

mothers won't stop producing milk as long as they keep nursing and eating properly. (medical difficulties being the exception.)

"Everyone knows that 'the breast is best'"
For once, PETA has their priorities in order.
On behalf of PETA and our more than 2 million members and supporters, I'd like to bring your attention to an innovative new idea from Switzerland...

Yes, but our culture makes women's breasts "dirty" somehow. Bad for babies (not nearly enough of them are breastfed) and bad for our psyches, exactly for the reason you state.

I have too. A small sip, very fresh. A VERY different taste from cow's milk, yes indeed, with a lot less fat and a lot of other differences. This was in between "you can feed the baby after I pump" and "that kid knows the difference between rubber and Mom, and he's holding out for the good stuff." Obviously this isn't something most people get a chance to check out over a long period of time. Unless they're Henry Ford or someone like him. (Interestingly enough, the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit is a very strong advocate for effective breastfeeding...)
Also, even well endowed women produce only a relatively small amount of milk compared to cows. Large breasts mean lots of fat tissue, and only a relatively small proportional increase in glandular tissue. Cows, on the other hand, have a LOT of space in those udders. Production at any appreciable quantity would be a problem. It's already a problem for a lot of women to produce enough milk for their own babies.

Not likely; suckling is a soothing, nurturing act, while our PETA friends are anything but soothing and nurturing. They are probably using some soy substitute for mother's milk. And brains...

We weren't intended to drive cars, live in condos, and lots of other things we do. I saw on a TV show (Good Eats, I think) that the ability to digest milk past the age of two is the last major evolutionary step that humans have undergone. Some races still can not digest milk past the age of two.
Regardless, milk is an easy way to get protein, vitamins, and calcium; and it's delicious. That's why we drink it.

Dairy cows are glad they aren't beef cows.
I'm lactose intolerant, but I can eat steak without issue.
If God didn't want us to eat them, why do they taste so good?
