I enjoy gaming, but I haven't played very many. I'm looking for a good video game (for my Mac) to get lost in during a 9 hour flight coming up. The ones I have enjoyed are things like Portal and Spore. I would prefer not to have a game that is too graphic since I don't want to offend others on the plane. Any suggestions?

Plants vs Zombies is great if you haven't played before.
It gets addictive pretty fast and it's not easy to get lost playing.
There's a pretty cool music video at the end too if you
finish the game.

For a non-graphic game you can play a text-adventure game. There was one complicated space economy game that works in real time called Unification Wars I think. I got sucked into that for a year after playing it on a flight. Otherwise I vote for Plants v Zombies. It's VERY addicting.
