Since yesterday's update if I try to view the Movie Trailers I see the following message:
"The movie trailer server is not responding."

Does anyone know what is going on? Do you get the same message?

I've always gotten that with Front Row. The message is half-bogus: the server is responding, just not quickly enough. Front Row just needs to be smarter and buffer a lot longer before trying to play the video.

tooki: did you find any workarounds or solutions to this problem? I can access the QuickTime Trailers webpage just fine and the movies load quickly, I just cannot play them in Front Row.

Thanks!

unfortunately, I think you and tooki are not talking about the same thing. tookie gets the "server not responding" message even though a movie trailer is already loading. you are getting nothing but that message even before the trailer page loads (like I do).

this has happened for many people, and has even happened before the last update. there is no workaround I know of. some have been posted on the apple forums, but for me, nothing works. and reinstalling because of this small feature feels like kind of overreacting.

It rarely works for me. Macworld has also reported this problem.

Try zapping the PRAM. It worked for me.
