So
Recently aqquired an iPod that was corrupted,
Cleaned it out using disk utlities by doing a 35 pass erase, but cancelled around the 31st erase...
So, I restored it, and started to load some songs onto it, it loaded up to about 11 gigs worth, then said the ipod could be not be read or written.
I come back and try again today to just go ahead and do an erase on it, and it was throwing me a -50 error code and said it wouldn't unmount, that it was in use by an application, even when everything but finder was closed.
So I get it into disk mode, and finally get it to restore, and it unmounted during that, but it load backs up and won't unmount now and iTunes doesn't recongnize it.
Anyone have any ideas!?
