meh ... the lockout has got me going out to watch the lesser leagues which I now find to be far more entertaining; the players play because the love the game, are not distracted by money and are actually from your home town. The NHL has lost my attention and $

Wake me up when Bill Wirtz can put together a decent team.

Or at least allows home games to be televised locally.

Is this the sport where grown men run around on ice and hit each other and everybody is afraid of the guy in the mask?

I forget.

Hey, beats that game where (often overweight) grown men stand in wonder on grass while watching a guy repeatedly missing a ball another guy is throwing at him every 5 minutes.... if it is not raining of course, 'cause rain is scaaaaaaary..

Yeah the minor league games are far more exciting, you got true hockey fans who go, and the players love the game. Ive seen the best fights there too, but not on the ice, in the crowd.

gomanute has no opinion on the NHL because Manute Bol played for a CHL team.

gomanute suggests ManOfSteal edit his post. The "T" key is just right of the one you accidentally hit.
