Those mods still work, with CoD. Just don't launch them through UO. Launch the standard CoD, and then launch your mods.

The only mods for CoD:UO are Mericless UO and The German Front Mod.

I re-intall the mod and they seem to work now! thanks. The only problem now is that there isn't any Revolt servers anymore it seems. Anyway. Merciless looks cool, I think i'll try it.

Well that's too bad that is a great mod. Maybe people like objective oriented map like HoB? If I remeber correctly Revolt was only TDM/DM wasn't it? [edit] and would it be worth it to upgrade Revolt to UO with more objective oriented play? with some machine guns, vehicules, etc...

And BTW Macologist is a great site thanks!!

Personally, I prefer objective-type gameplay. Revolt Final did have Capture The Flag, which I quite enjoyed. But, Revolt seemed to cater more to the younger crowd, and the younger crowd tends to not stick to any one thing for very long. Whereas, HoB has a much more mature crowd, and many of the regulars still play it daily.

Revolt I believe moved on to the Source (Half-Life 2) engine because CoD just wasn't that friendly to modders. Same with HoB, though HoB is still keeping their CoD version alive.

Oh, and thanks for the compliment on Macologist! We work hard to make it one of the best Mac-gamer-oriented sites out there.
