It's Gericom. Okay. yeah.

Gericom is one of those brands that you buy exactly ONCE, and never again.

That is to say, I know people who've owned Gericom machines, and will never own another.

But hey, sure - it's an iMac.

Yeah feature-wise it's the bomb (if you're shopping for an all-in-one WinBox, that is). Knowing that it's made by Gericom also means that quality-wise it quite literally is the bomb - between cholera and that thing - gimme cholera any time of the day

Depends on what you use them for ...

I hear they'll work nicely as hovercrafts, blow dryers, etc. - or, when you turn off the fans - space heaters.

Until it runs OS X, I'd be missing something.

No, no, no, no ... that wasn't proper German. The correct form would have been "Neue Hitze" - sounds stupid, though. "Heissigkeit" is as much a German word as "hotness" is an English one.

I've just taken possession of a brand new 20" iMac. It arrived 15 minutes ago, am typing this (on a wireless keyboard) while my files are being transferred from the Powerbook.

This thing rocks.

Congrats. New Apple Day is always the best of days.
