Is airport express the same as a wireless router? Like if I have DSL on my desktop, can I log on, on my desktop and the airport express sends out the signal? I know it may sound dumb and I don't believe it does, BUT I had to ask before I go buy a wireless router.

Yes, it's a wireless router. Plug the cable from your DSL modem into its ethernet port, and you're connected.

Follow the instructions in the book for how to configure it; there are a few tricks involved, much like any wireless router.

And the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. (We all hope all questions will be asked clearly, and intelligently, though. Mindreading over the Internet is a vague science at best.)
