Hi, I'm using an SSD as my boot disk and would like to keep it as empty as possible while still storing applications on it. The problem I am having is that my Library > Applications Support folder is huge largely due to audio loops and final cut studio content.
Is there a way to store these on a separate drive? I've tried putting "Application Support" and "Audio" folders on another drive and replacing them with identically named aliases to the folders on other drive, but it does not work (says the path doesn't exist). Any ideas? Thanks

You could try symbolic links instead of aliases. I don't know if it would make a difference, but it's worth a shot
