So I work in the States, but support people on the other side of the world. As such, I get up at 2 pm, and go to bed around 4 am. Anyone know a way to make iCal reflect this, instead of making my calendar look all empty in the middle?

It's all empty and sad looking

Did you even read what I typed?

Try to get it to start your day at 2 pm and end it at 4 am the next day. Yes, I know about preferences.

Right, so the solution is to give up my awesome job for a really bad 9-5 one that pays less and that I enjoy less.

Or how about, if you don't know the answer why did you reply at all?

If you mean the part where you, in your original post, mentioned that you already checked preferences and found nothing?

next time don't bother asking for help if you intend to be a ********* when help is given to your incomplete request. What you wanted to type in your original post was:

"Awesome" is subjective, I guess. Here's the obvious answer:

January 17 starts at 12 midnight, and ends at 12 midnight, at which point it becomes January 18, and will be the 18th at 4am. This is the way humans manage time. Just because your circadian rhythm goes against the grain doesn't mean that iCal can change the way the world works to accommodate you.

Just set up iCal from 2pm to 12am. What do you do after 12 other than work anyway?

My question was already clear, and I wasn't being a jerk, I was aking if you had read it. Your response didn't seem as though you had read any of it.

Is there not a string in the .plist files that can be changed to allow this?
