Has anyone else ran into problems because of the special build of 10.3.7 loaded up on the mini? I can't install uControl or use the Python Install Manager because they both detect a newer version of Darwin (7.7.1 instead of 7.7.0).

Is this going to continue to be an issue until Apple releases a 10.3.8? It's really kinda frustrating at the moment.

its really a matter of ucontrol and the people the puthon install manger isn't it?

email them and see what they say.

true -- i was just wondering if it's affecting other applications as well. Seems like a silly thing to depend on the kernel version, especially in the case of Python. I can see why uControl would want to bail out on newer kernels, since it is a kernel extension.
