The video is pretty cool.

Too bad it can't help self-righteous jerks like you.

OUCH!

Well, it seemed a valid comment. The article was chock full of info he seemed to have missed about the potential topics for the messages. Perhaps it was a joke on his part--but then, it was a joke on mine.

Did I kick your puppy in another thread or sumthin?

I'm impressed that it varies the chalk firing timing based on the speed of the bike. Very cool.
We need less Democrats and Republicans, and more people that think for themselves.

I don't see one word in that article that suggests that what he's writing is of a protesting nature.

Well, he hasn't written anything YET. Just testing. from the article:

Kinberg will be taking his road-spraying bicycle to the Republican National Convention in New York this fall,

The project, called Bikes Against Bush, is Kinberg's master's thesis.

Kinberg said he'd considered giving Republican supporters a voice, but discounted it. "It's not fair and balanced," he said. "It has a clear political slant."

One idea suggested to him was to set up phone lines for taking messages verbally, one for Democrats, the other for Republicans. The Democrat line would be free, but the Republican number would not.
These things, combined, seem to point out that Kinsberg will be protesting aspects of the Bush presidency, and accepting and publishing protest messages from other likeminded thinkers. This could expand into anti-war messages, anti-republican messages, anti-texan messages, anti-death penalty messages, anti cheese and badger messages, and many others.

But I think the last one is going too far.

Political leanings aside, it's a nifty gadget and I hope he gets an A+++ on his thesis.

It seemed the guy was asking a valid question and got flamed for it (what the guy on the bike is protesting is rather buried in the article). I probably went too far to the extreme, but so did the chastisement regarding his reading comprehension skills.

On topic, although I don't agree with the biker's message, I do think the method is ingenious. Kudos to his creativity.
